This program will provide tips in making preparations for school for your child with food allergies.

This annual program conducted by a local allergist will provide important information for responding to a food allergy reaction including a hands on opportunity to practice using epi-pens. This program is open to anyone with food allergies or who cares for a person with food allergies including family, friends, teachers, etc.

The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN^™) is working on  federal legislation that would encourage states to adopt laws allowing schools to have on hand “stock” epinephrine auto-injectors – meaning epinephrine that is not prescribed specifically to a single student but can be used for any student and staff member in an anaphylactic emergency.   P P
